RETURNS

At Sojourn Scents, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. As a small start-up, we carefully inspect each item before it leaves our hands to ensure you receive the very best.

All sales are final, and at this time, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. This policy helps us maintain the high standard of quality control we strive for with every order.

SHIPPING

At Sojourn Scents, we strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. While most orders ship within 48 hours, please allow up to 4 business days for processing, especially during peak times.

​

Holiday Season Notice (Thanksgiving to Christmas): Due to increased order volumes during the holiday season, processing times may be extended. We appreciate your patience during this busy time.

​

Please note that processing time does not include the transit time estimated by your chosen shipping carrier. Transit times vary depending on the carrier and the shipping method you select at checkout.

Shipping Options

​

We currently ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, offering both standard and expedited options. All shipping charges and expected delivery times are determined by the carrier and are displayed at checkout. These times and fees are beyond our control. You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Shipping Limitations

​

At this time, we only ship within the contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, or to multiple addresses from a single online order.

DAMAGES

At Sojourn Scents, we understand that candles are fragile and heavy items, which is why we take every precaution to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. Each candle is individually inspected and carefully packaged with extra packing material to protect your purchase during transit.

During the summer months or when shipping to areas with extreme heat, we may include ice packs to help safeguard your candles from the heat. Please note, we do not charge for packing and handling, as we aim to keep shipping costs as low as possible for our customers.

Since we do not use any additives, preservatives, or stabilizers in our candles, it’s important to keep track of your order using the provided tracking number, especially during warmer months. We recommend that your package be stored in a climate-controlled area upon delivery to avoid any damage due to extreme temperatures. In rare cases, your candles may “perspire” or slightly melt. If this occurs, simply place the candle upright in a cool area and allow it to firm up before lighting.

Please inspect your candles upon receipt. If your items are damaged or defective, email us at support@sojournscents.com within 5 days so we can evaluate the situation and make it right!

REFUNDS

At Sojourn Scents, we take great care to ensure the quality of our products and your satisfaction. As a small business, we have a no-refunds policy on all sales. Since all our candles are handcrafted and made with natural ingredients, we are unable to offer refunds once the order has been processed.

However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, we are happy to make it right. Please email us at support@sojournscents.com within 5 days of receiving your order, including a description and photo / video of the issue. We will review your request and determine whether a store credit is appropriate.

​

If your refund is approved, you will then receive an email confirmation along with a store credit for the value of your purchase. Please allow up to 5 business days for your store credit to be processed.
